Hayes Environmental provides the following services to clients throughout NSW: • survey and identification of native flora and fauna, including targeted searches for species listed as threatened on the NSW Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 (TSC Act) and/or on the Commonwealth Environment Protection & Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act); • identification of biodiversity constraints and opportunities; • assessment of the impact of development proposals upon threatened species, populations and ecological communities listed on the TSC Act pursuant to Section 5A of the NSW Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979 (the ‘eight-part test'); • preparation of Species Impact Statements; • advice with regard to the need for referral of proposed actions to the Commonwealth Minister for Environment and Heritage under the EPBC Act; • assessment under various State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPP'S) • preparation of plans of management for threatened species, such as the Koala Phascolarctos cinereus , and Land Snail Meridolum corneovirens ; • preparation of bushland management plans; • preparation of Vegetation Management Plans as required by DIPNR; • co-ordination of small and large scale revegetation and/or regeneration projects; • provision of expert evidence in the NSW Land & Environment Court; • tree surveys/arborist reports; and • weed audits. |
